When someone searches "dentist near me" in Patna, the first thing they see is not a website. It is the map pack — three business listings with photos, ratings and a call button. Most people never scroll past it.
What a complete profile looks like
Correct category, exact opening hours including holidays, at least fifteen real photographs, the services list filled in, and a steady trickle of reviews with owner replies. That is it. It is not complicated, it is just rarely done.
Photos do most of the work
Profiles with more than ten photos get significantly more direction requests and calls. Take pictures of the frontage, the interior, your team and your actual work. Phone photos are fine — real beats polished here.
Reviews are the ranking factor you control
Ask every satisfied customer, in person, at the moment they are happy. Reply to all of them, including the bad ones, calmly and factually. A business with 40 reviews and thoughtful replies outranks one with 200 and silence.
Keep it alive
Post an update every couple of weeks. Google treats an active profile as a live business, and a dormant one as a risk.
